Congrats dildarbar for the first stage completion of sponsorship approval............. :)

Any one send application back on or after Jan 13, 2012 and received a letter from CIC-M??? My application was received by CIC-M on January 13, 2012.... Please help...

I did not send affidavit for my parent's birth and marriage certificate. I thought that the DOB and spouse name in their passport would be sufficient. I guess I should get their affidavit done asap and send it to CPC. Any suggestion/comment?

I would say wait for their reply. Once they direct you to provide it, you can send it, but just in case you may want that to have it ready....

If you know you did not send the document you should be sending those documents ASAP unless you are cutting too close to your file opening date e.g. if you sent your documents in first 3 weeks of January then I think its too close...

Hello all seniors of the site,

I am new to forum and i have this situation now.

In my case,

No dependents....only parents

Parents visited in Canada for visitor visa on last year and they stayed here for 5 months only.

I received e-mai indicated that Now my file has been transfered to New - Delhi India for further process.

do anyone have any idea how long does it take to clear the file in New Delhi? Like some other forum members already received request for medical check up whose file was trasnfer to Ottawa instead of New Dekhi.

I send the PCC with all documents in Dec. 2011, but that PCC is from Local police station at Gujrat - India. Does i need another PCC from Passport office or it will work?

do have to apply now for PCC or just wait until received request from CIC - New Delhi.

any reply would be much appereciated.

Thanks

I would say wait, but get them ready so that if they ask for it you can send it right away.
If you cannot submit copies you need to tell them why. Did you write them a letter explaining why?

In my case, I submitted a letter explaining why I am not providing copy of certificates. And to support their birth and marriage dates I submitted my dad's birth affidavit, my mom's birth affidavit, one marriage affidavit.

So far, we do not have any information on how long the local VO would take to issue the visa. As regards the PCC, if you have submitted the PCC from the local police station, then there is no need to send another PCC (local police or passport office) to NDelhi. Your entire file gets transferred to the local office. NDelhi office would only ask for any documents that are not in your file (medical etc).

I assume New Delhi office also should process these applications faster if parents/gps sponsorship is a priority for CIC.

You have to submit PCC either from local Commissioner of Police/Superintendent of police office or passport office.
If the PCC you submitted is from any of those two you do not need to submit it again.

My parents application is transferred to CPP-Ottawa. I haven't received the letter yet, but called CIC and they confirmed that it is CPP-O.
