TO SPONSERPARENTS AND VEERU i want to ask sponserparents you said one of your friend started in 2009 do u know which month in 2009 and to VEERU u said files who has dependent transfers to local office so what do u mean by dependent it means children what if it is only mom and dad and no other dependent so anyone can answer please i appreciate

In my application I have my mom & dad, and the file got transferred to Ottawa.

i want to ask u guys that when u received additional form request so how many picture for parents were needed and can u guys send me the link for the specification of the picture and how old it can be
and also do parents really need to have passports now as there is question for number of passport and date of issue so is it good idea to get now and have handy i appreciate

6.Travel docs & passports (copies)
1.passport number 2.date of issue & expiry 3.the photo ,name,date &place of birth 4.pages showing any amendments in name,dob,expiration etc..
7.Proof of relationship to sponsor in canada(copies)
1.birth certificates 2.marriage certificates 3.death certificates 4.national id's..................
8.proof of dependant children's relationship to principal applicant(copies)
1.children's birth certificate 2.family/household book 3.proof of continuous full time
studies etc..............
9.photo requirements(originals)
1.supply 2photos of each member of your family & yourself.Follow the instructions provided in the section How to complete forms of application guide & in Appendix A photo specs.
2.Photos must have taken with in 6months before application submission.
3.On the back of the photo ,write the name & Date of birth of the person who appears in the photo as well as the date the photo was taken.
10.Mailing your application
1. Mississauga
2.docs check list
3. letter that was sent with this checklist
4.supporting docs required in this checklist
5.include 2 self addressed mailing labels(one in english,one in the official lang of your country)

Hi i check onlin status on 17th feb 2012 but nothing.
Today i check online status its say decision made.i don't know where they send my file.But i mention on application form New Delhi.

My case is quite opposite.. I received the letter, but online status hasnt changed..

hi everyone.. bago po ako d2 sa forum.. i read ung thread and somehow it made me anxious waiting for the result coz of the timeline process.. nwei po, my sister in CA applied for my mom and me.. dependent po ko ng nanay ko. we've passed the initial docs last may 2010.. additional docs july 2010, and then last december 2011, additional docs at info with our passports na, sinabay na rin dun is medical.. some say na mabilis na daw, but i really am not sure of the waiting time. i wanted to work muna but what if dumating na approved yun.. thanks guys.. i'm only 23 kya mejo newbie po talaga.
