I got the invitation to apply PGP couple of days ago but when I try to check the invitation status on CIC website, it does not find any information regarding that. I am using the number underneath the barcode from the invitation letter.

Did you try copy pasting the number? try typing it in may be there is extra space etc. while copy paste.

I tried manually and still nothing.I deleted the confirmation email I got when I submitted the interest form back in 2020, is the number underneath the barcode and confirmation number the same thing ?

Yes, the number beneath the barcode is the confirmation number without the asterisk obviously that they have put in the front and in the end of the entire number

I received an invitation this time, and my parents are currently in Canada on a Super Visa. I applied for their Super Visa in March and recently completed the medical exam. I believe I can use the same medical exam results, but they can request additional tests if needed.Should I apply for the PCC along with the other documents when they request it, or can we provide the PCC beforehand after obtaining it from BLS?

I also have their medical information when applying for the supervisa last year. I think I would submit this medical info and their PCC first. The current processing time of this kind of application is about 6-12 months for last years’s applications. So the medical and PCC may be still valid when they proceed the applications.

Question About IMM5768 "Financial Evaluation For Parents and Grandparents"

Need a small help -
1. My wife will not be signing as a co-signer, so do i still need to fill up the section 15, 16 and 17. I believe section 15 is needed but 16 and 17 are not since its specific to co-signer.
2. In point number 14, during the year 2023, i changed my employer. so do i need to create two separate rows lets say i worked for employer 1 till July 31st 2023 and the second one from aug 1 st to Dec 31 2023
3. What gross do i need to specify jan 1st 2024 to Present? As i dont know what will be the final value at the end of 2024.

Similar question for IMM 5768 point 14 as well, I changed employer 3 times in 2022, is this how I fill this (check table below)? and are the family size 6 for all of the years? (4 current + sponsoring 2)

You are only sponsoring your father (principal applicant) and his current wife would be his dependent.
incorrect. the marriage of the second wife occurred when the father was still married to the mother. That marriage is NOT recognized by IRCC. (it's illegal to get married when you were already married to someone)
But that second wife could be the father's common law partner. I am not sure of the situation.

So I am trying to understand the income requirement section. The figures shown in the chart already have 30% added to it or we have to add 30% to it?
You don't need to add 30%. The chart has the correct minimum income requirement to sponsor.

I've received an invitation for PGP 2024. Could someone please help me? Do I need to submit separate applications for my mom and dad? If so, can I use the same portal for both applications? Should the portal be under the sponsor's name or the applicant's name?
Are they divorced or legally separated? If so each of them will be sponsored in their own application (2 applications).

If they are still married, you pick one of your parents as principle applicant and the other will be the dependent in one application.

thats how i am doing it yes, for the current year (2024) i am just adding my paystubs until current month and putting that amount. For the family size, i am just sponsoring my mom (father passed away and my only sister is not dependant, is married and lives separately with her husband) so including my mom + my wife + myself + my older son for 2021, 2022. For 2023 and 2024: adding my younger son to the count as well apart from my mom + my wife + myself + my older son
