One of my friend got for his parent early today around 9:55am. I am still waiting. How often they sent invitation. Is it really over the time frame they mentioned on CIC or normally they send on the first day? what they did last year? just wondering

Is there any way to check our application is still live? I mean CIC in 2020 auto removed duplicate/incomplete applications so how to be sure we are in pool?

  Starting today, invitations to apply will be sent to potential sponsors who have previously filled out an Interest to Sponsor form: https://ow.ly/2NLo50PV9Bi

• Invitations will be sent by email over the following 2 weeks to randomly selected potential sponsors from the remaining pool of 2020 Interest to Sponsor forms.

• If you receive an invitation, you must electronically submit your PGP application through the Permanent Residence Portal or the Representative Permanent Residence Portal by the deadline mentioned on your invitation: https://ow.ly/yeTs50PV7EG

• If you submitted an Interest to Sponsor form in 2020, but did not receive an invitation to apply during the 2020, 2021 or 2022 intakes, make sure to monitor the email account you used on that form, including your spam and junk mail folders.

• Once all invitations have been sent out, you’ll be able to recover a lost confirmation number or provide a new email address if you no longer have access to the email address you used to submit your Interest to Sponsor form: https://ow.ly/1eiu50PV7Hh

Anyone know if the emails are batch processed - e.g. ~2K a day?

I remember in the previous years usually invites were sent out in the first couple of days and dried up dramatically towards the end of the ~2 week period. So guessing its more front loaded in the first couple of days.

- My parents have misplaced birth certificates. Is there an alternative document?
- Details of military service. It is asking for a lot of information. Do we have to fill it out in detail?

Hopefully that's the case.. I've heard there are way more than 24,000 from the pool
