Hey guys for photos for my parents who I want to sponsor, It should be 2 (1 with stamp and name and DOB) and another one blank? Is that correct?

Same. I got the no signature xpresspost envelope but I still got a signature.

That's so strange . Is this an agent who received and signed the App ? I am confused !

That's so strange . Is this an agent who received and signed the App ? I am confused !

Xpress post, even without paying for signature request will still show a signature. This was reported many times in this thread.

No new update on ECAS , I think IRCC moved all resources to scan the new applications as volume may be bit high at this time .

"This e-mail is a friendly reminder regarding the Parents and Grandparents Program. The deadline for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to receive your complete application to sponsor your parents and grandparents is quickly approaching. Please read the attachment for very important information on the submission of your application.:"

I can see my application received on May 29th signed by SCI MARTIN. Maybe this is an automated email and may be my application package still not being opened? I guess so...

Finally my parents landed yesterday , after 3 years of waiting

Why it took so long? Was there any complexity in your case?

It is surprising as to how CIC decided to do ecas updates for some and not for others (what we call the crazy intern theory). On a department level, they could have guided officers to enable ecas for all scans with "application received" as it would have saved so much time for their support agents who daily receive calls to inquire if application is received or not.

There was an automated email sent with a reminder to submit the family sponsorship 2019 application package by 2019. The email was sent to all who had received invitation to apply.
