A few of those people in the group have reached out to their MPs - doesn't seem like it makes any difference however. If Ottawa is backlogged, it's backlogged. Once we reach the 6 weeks+ waiting point, I'm sure my tune will change though.
Basically people have gotten Decision Made on ECAS since the beginning of September and still have heard nothing about their applications. Canada91 is saying that once he hits 6+ weeks of hearing nothing after having his DM, he'll change his tune and start asking questions/contacting MP.

I was also reading somewhere that you can actually go to the border after getting PPR and submitting it, you can induce getting your CoPR more quickly. Like they can print it out there and give it to you.
l also just received the email saying we're being processed in Mississauga. So I guess we were OB570 approved as well.

I'm honestly so pleased that we're finally seeing so much 'movement'
this coming week we should get my RCMP prints back and fire it off with the Stat Deca.. We're hoping to get CoPR in our hot little hands by December 22nd, since then I get like 5 grand back from my school for tuition. which, you know, would be nice..

Hey guys, new here. I have an outland application that I sent in some months ago and I have a couple of quesitons:
- What is PPR?
- Did anyone else's application get lost en route to London? CPC-M sent me a letter saying it had been lost...but was later found. Any ideas how long the applications were lost for, and how long London takes. eCAS says 'received on Sep 7th'.

-PPR- Passport request. This is sent to you shortly (hopefully shortly) after DM.
-No idea how long it would have been lost. I would try calling the call center and asking them. They might be able to tell you.
Thanks Masonb6888! So to be clear my understanding from reading this thread is:
- Application is sent and initially processed at CPC-M
- If everything is in order it is usually forwarded to London (for UK and Pakistan applicants)
- London perfoms background checks etc, taking an unknown length of time to do so
- They then issue a Decision Made and, assuming PR is granted, send the file to Ottawa
- Ottawa, although currently experiencing a backlog, will issue a passport request
- Upon receipt of appropriate documents, CoPR is posted to applicant.
