That's great.
Does anybody get the PPR from Mexico? It is a fast moving from CPP-Ottawa office and people are getting PPR.

this driving me nuts, i guess we all get the mail telling that our file would be processed faster in Mexico and that's why it has been transferred. Result of that we are late compare to Ottawa ... maybe coz of the strike they are splitting resources between visa and PR now ... that is killing me ....
We acknowledge receipt of the documents you have recently submitted (this was the reason for my enquiry).
At the moment, there is no need for further action on your part.
Also we kindly request that you carefully read the following information posted on the CIC website, as it is relevant to your case:
For this reason all processing issues have been delayed and it is not currently possible for us to give you an approximate timeframe for case finalizing, even if all requested documents have been submitted.
Our office will contact you should we require additional documents or information.
Thank you for keeping your correspondence to a minimum

These guys are willing to process our cases (in my opinion). I think its the strike that is the hindering factor here. I hope they call it off soon so we can all move forward.
Thank you for sharing your info, when did you submitted your updated DOCS, I submitted mine 10 days ago through my lawyer, as per the tracking no# they were received successfully.I called my lawyer and requested them as can we follow-up with CIC,Mexico. But they are suggesting me do not touch them till 90 days, Is it correct?

If online tracking indicates that your documents was received, really there is no need to follow up with them right away. I will suggest you give them some time. The only reason why I emailed them was because I was not able to verify that they received my documents by tracking it online.
I'm optimistic that once this strike is over, we will all get our PPRs
It's so annoying to see that people that applied a lot later than me are already getting passport request just because their file stayed in Ottawa. Grrrr. So unfair. I've been waiting for 3 years!

My eCas status just changed to "IN PROCESS" on August 30th. It had changed to "Medicals Received" about 2 weeks before that. Apparently things are moving forward!!
"Medical results have been received.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on August 30, 2013."
