I received my notes a couple months back showing there was no work carried out on my application at all. I applied for another set of notes last week (it's only five bucks so what the hell) so we'll see if there's been any work done in the past 2-3 months.
I did see my MP. They carried out their inquiries and informed me that i would receive PR no later then Dec 2013....and that i could possibly get it a lot sooner but Dec 2013 is the cut off point. If i have not received anything by then, then they will escalate the issue and my MP would speak to Jason Kenney directly about my application.
Tej - our timeline is almost identical. My MP said the same thing; that Ottawa has my application but they haven't look at it yet. They said to follow up again in 2 months time, which will be in the next week or two so I will follow up with them then. Are you sure that a decision will be made by December, or just that our files will be assessed? I was under the assumption it was the latter.

I was told that i will have my PR in 2013.....latest will be Dec 2013. Now i don't see any reason why our applications will be assessed and then put back on the shelf. I think if they assess it, they will follow through right until the end and issue our PPR. That's my thinking anyway.
The concern that I have is that we are not getting any preferences over FSW1 who are not currently working in Canada. As per timeline posted in CIC the applicants having arranged employment should be given priority and done quickly.
We should team up and find a way to notify Ottawa about this. We should contact our local MP office regularly and share the update.
I actually sent my MP a note this morning looking for an update, should hear something in 2-3 weeks.
I was told we have to wait for the Med Req and we cannot do advanced last time I called CIC.

Thare are lots of good news coming out this day, some are getting medical, some PPR and for some processing is getting started. At last, Ottawa woke up after one year's rest. I hope we all get some news in another 3-4 months. It is a good sign that they are actually touching 2011 files now. Keep patience guys, our turn is soon now
