Hey no updates on SOWP. Applied on Sept 8th and no update after. Eligibility hasn't even begun. They are still processing background check. What about you?

Applied OWP on Dec 22nd, got a WP-EXT on Dec 23rd because PA already on PGWP.
I was hoping to get a timeline for approved OWP, because we want to travel out of country in couple of months, so an approved OWP will be helpful.

Awesome! Glad it worked out for you. PA with visitor visa timeline is so long haha. I have noticed that people who applied in August end have started to get their SOWP so fingers crossed!

Thank you! When did you submit your application? I had noticed that July applicants had received their SOWPs in December so I was hopeful that August applications start seeing updates in Jan.

Hopefully yeah! I have submitted my application on August 17th, and the SOWP was on September 22nd.

Based on your timeline you should have updates on your SOWP and sponsorship application within the next 2-3 weeks.

Did you receive an approval in principle letter before your sponsor's eligibility was done ? I thought AIP was sent only after PA eligibility was done.

Yes, my only guess is sponsor approval was completed earlier but they forgot to send the letter until they sent my AIP.
