I see. Thank you. Mine still starts with XF, maybe that's why I cannot log in to ECAS. They say when it starts with F, they started working on it already. Have you received any correspondence yet?

I'm pretty sure that is the reason since I was able to log to ECAS only today and I have a F number without an X from monday or maybe even earlier but until monday I wasn't able to link to mycic so when I linked X was already dropped.

I wasn't able to log into ECAS until very early on November 3rd, but our file number changed from XF to F on October 21st.

Is it normal for people who submitted after you to receive aor before us? I still have an xf. Kinda starting to freak out

Sometimes it depends who gets your file.. Some agents will open a bunch of application at once and do updates as a batch. Others work with a one by one sort of process.

The other reason could be that there are missing documents in your application and it is being sent back, I hope that is not the case!

i certainly hope that is not the case I dotted my t's and crossed my I's like a thousand times haha.
If it does get sent back do I have to pay again to refile? or do I just send what they want and resend the file?
will my status on my gckey thing say cancelled if they are sending it back? or will it change from the open status?

My ECAS just went to "in-process" !

I did my meds up front but still on MyCIC it is as "in-process" and it has not appeared on ECAS yet....seems odd to me! hopefully they appear soon! After "in-process" I am just waiting for DM, right?

Guys, pls how do you go about linking application? Between the sponspor and sponsorED, whose information gets entered into whose profile? Who is the applicant here?

you enter the sponsored info. ours worked with passport info and putting #2 instead of #1 in the last section.

if you look at the form that you filled out ideally it should be that number. I believe 2 but they might enter it as 3

I put 2 in the form that I filled out because our son is with me living in Canada

if the 2 doesn't work then try another sequence of #'s. try 1 2 or 3. (remember theres only 5 tries before locked out for 24 hrs)
I put 1 in my form but they had it as 2.
Also make sure that everything you are entering is the same info that you entered on that form. other then the #'s of course.
How long has it been since your app was mailed? Ours was able to link in 9 days but I see some people who can't for almost 13 or more days.

ive seen some that used the sponsor info. also maybe try using the fee reciept # instead assuming you are trying to get into ECAS
