Is there a difference between ECAS and MyCIC to check the status of your application? I don't think so but wanted to make sure

We just received our AOR1 notification email, our package arrived in Mississauga on October 12. Still unable to check the status with either myCIC or ECAS.

With the cic we entered the passport Info and put in 2 even though our app said 1. Have you tried changing the #?

I have tried that with no luck, and unfortunately we ran out of attempts for today anyways.

Hi everyone,

I just had an email confirming they received it (my husband received the one yesterday). It says there are documents missing and they will request them- I have no idea what this is I supplied everything on the tick list apart from the stuff about dependents as I don't have any. I didn't pay the Right Of Permenant Residence at the time could it be this they are referring to?

I have tried that with no luck, and unfortunately we ran out of attempts for today anyways.

I tried everyday from the date that the courier delivered. I got kicked out everyday. I know it was ridiculous haha. we were able to link after 9 days.

We received my sponsor approval email today! The application was received on October 5th, 2016, and we received our AOR1 on October 28th, 2016.

Hey guys, my husband just got accepted as a sponsor and the whole thing is being forwarded to Sao Paulo VO. Such a relief! Still not able to enter ECAS though.

I got an email saying I met the requirements and my application has been sent to Bucharest
