Quick question. I applied as walk-in at BLS Montreal today. The status on BLS tracking shows "underprocess". Does it remain like this or changes to "in transit to high commission" etc?

Normally it changes to in-transit and then to "Processing at High Commission" once delivered to the HCI.

Naaah, I've seen few FB posts who got their Ack the same freaking day and had OCI processed in 20days....lucky folks..

That was a joke.. But, Ack same day in Toronto --- never heard of that. Takes a day to get from BLS to the consulate. Process in 20 days after Ack is possible though that's the absolute minimum.
The fastest I've seen is PIO in 7 days 15 years ago, and then that PIO converted to OCI in 4 days recently.

Yeah I confirmed too because ppl get confused with their BLS Ack date as OCI Ack. Nope...it was OCI Ack and everything done under 21 days as expected after Ack..

Date of ack on OCI website: Sept 22
Received original Canadian passport and citizenship certificate around Sept 26th. My current status shows “Under Process”
What does this mean and what happens next?
