Anyone with soft landing history?

How did you fill out the address history? Was it the address for the PR card shipping on landing or the actual residing address?

That makes more sense then, I see almost half applicants get request for FP

10 years is expiry date but if there is a match in DB for same name/DOB or someone with criminal record has similar name they might ask for FP. Thats my understanding

Biometrics given during pr or trv is valid for 10 years. For citizenship, IRCC requests your fingerprints from RCMP and it is valid for 1 year only. They ask FP requests for people who have common name and share same DOB. If the application doesn’t get processed in 1 year, IRCC will again ask for FP.

Hi, it's the same office (Mississauga) Not sure what it means. I believe we both have the same AOR also Dec 1st.

I have seen more of these recently, not sure what it means. I got a FP request as well. Guess we have to wait and see.
