I received a ghost update on January 17th and nothing after that.
I think nothing to worry about. Everyone’s application in Montreal (and maybe in general) right now clears the test first and then the wait.
I think it is a good sign for any applicant to follow the pattern of any other routine application. The stuff can get delayed once your application starts looking different than others. So lets stay positive
Anyone from MTL office ordered GCMS notes? I'm thinking about it but feel like it's still too early...

I think there is no reason. Majority of applicants don’t have anything after the test passed nowadays. So you should be are all good.
Hi, anyone got Language and physical presence completed but Prohibitions and BG still in process? Any idea what that means? Thanks in advance.

Language skills and physical presence are now completed, the tracker was updated on January 31st. It looks like language skills and physical presence are now being completed before the background check and probations? It seems that they have changed the way they are processing applications.

@Aman heer It's random. Some people get a request for Fingerprints where some don't.

Usually, they don't need for 10 years. Recently, it happening when IRCC requests RCMP background check. They use a search criteria name and date of birth. If it returns any other matching record. They are requesting a Finger Print from you again and try to match it with their existing record.
It shouldn't return a two records. It seems a extra cautious effort.
Found the above happened when running a Volunteer vulnerability sector background check.

Like full name and date of birth match? Thats very unlikely to happen

First Name
Last Name
Date of Birth
For myself, there was a match and they have cleared by getting my fingerprint again.
