Hello everyone,
We applied for spousal sponsorship for my wife in November 17 2022. She resides and works in qatar and holds an Indian passport. We still haven't received an aor till now. Is there anything at all that we can do to see what's happening with our application. It's been five months and there has been no email from ircc ever since. Is there something wrong or is there someone else who is in the same situation as us. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Rahul

I think you should contact your Member of Parliament in your area. They can help you with tracking your application. Your application is close to ours which is Nov 24. We received AOR exactly 2 months after submission.

No one will be able to tell you that. Your best option is to look at the trackers (myimmitracker, or multiple excel sheets) and figure out the mean processing time to get a rough estimate.

@PositiveEnergy
I tried to talk to the member of parliament. They say that they are unable to track anything with IRCC without a UCI number. UCI number, we would only get with the AOR email. This is so disappointing. If they have all of this online infrastructure, I was hoping things would be more transparent. Can someone else share other ways we can figure out what happened to our application. Document submitted Nov 17, no communication other than the succesful submission

1. You should have your own UCI. Since you already applied few years ago. You can use this to call IRCC.
2. You can try to link this application to GCKey. You don`t need UCI for that.
3. You can check your application status via ECAS (yes, it works for online applications) https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do using your UCI.
If neither 2 or 3 works, then 1 is your only bet. Have you applied online? What is the current status of the application in the portal?
