I am a little confused reading through the threads and I am hoping that someone can clarify this for me please. I am looking on ECAS and under Permanent Residence Application Status it shows the following:

1) We received ***** application for permanent residence on November 13, 2015.
2) We started processing ******* application on January 25, 2016.

I am hearing so much about this 3rd line...What 3rd line lol? The only thing that I see missing is confirmation that they have his medical which was done upfront and sent in with the application. Someone please explain if you can

In progress with two lines = VO has received application
In progress with three lines = Officer is working on your application


That's my understanding.

Mmmm... Thanks for the info. It doesn't make sense that the medical wouldn't show as received when it was sent in with the package.

I spoke to CIC and they confirmed with me that they electronically scan all documents to the VO'S abroad.... whether that's true or not is another story. That's a lot of scanning :-X

Hi,

So i just found this forum and the simply amazing Google spreadsheet a couple of weeks ago, and I would like to add our details to it as the more info is in there the better.

I am a UK citizen (pure fa Glasgow pal) and my wife is Canadian we have applied for the family visa. My wife's Sponsor part has been approved and we have moved to the last stage.

Info so far.
Paperwork sent to Mississauga: 8th of November
Paperwork received Mississauga: 12th of November
Sponsor approved: 20th January
Processing office: Ottowa.

I just wish we had found this tool when we first started filling out the paperwork, it would have made life much easier...

A big thanks to the admin's for maintaining the forum and the very very helpful spreadsheet!

So this morning I just check online and the section for PR has changed from application "received" to "in process." I am a bit confused though, because I received my SA on Jan 25 , isn't this tooooooo early to get "in process" from the VO. My VO is New Delhi...
if this is correct, does this mean that the VO has received my files and is working on it now?

Guys i got aor2 sent to wrong email ... It was sent from new delhi office i had used tht email in previous visa appplication ... But in spousal i req email to be forwarded somewhere else ... I email delhi office is there anything else i can do .. Should i call cic
