Hi @Miss bee thanks so much for the response. Yes, if you don’t mind, can you help me out with drafting the message. Much appreciated.

Since you haven't t received your Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) yet, your application is still in the completeness check stage. Missing the photo specification document might lead to a request for additional documents (ADR) or, in the worst case, a return of your application if IRCC considers it incomplete. However, in many cases, they issue an ADR rather than returning the entire application for minor issues like this.

What You Can Do:
1. Submit a Webform ASAP Explain the situation and attach the missing document with your application details (UCI, full name, etc.).

2. Wait for IRCCs Decision “ If they notice the issue before processing further, they might send an ADR instead of returning the application.

Since you applied recently and haven't t received AOR yet, there's s a chance they might still accept the missing document via webform. Let me know if you need help drafting a message!

@Miss bee hello i got ghost update on my pr tracker as the date showing updated changed but I cannot see anything that changed or updated on pr tracker
A ghost update on your PR tracker usually means that something was updated internally, but its not visible to you yet. This could be a background check update, eligibility review progress, or a step related to your medical or security clearance.

So does that mean its a good sign because after my medical and biometrics completed there has not been any update since last 3.5 months and then all of sudden the date on pr tracker updated

@Miss bee i called ircc and they said its still in progress and I just have to wait because now the processing time for pnp application is 21month and I applied in April 2024

Thanks! :)

Good day XXX,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application was received on October 31, 2024. It is in queue for review.

It was assigned this temporary application number: XEP----.

Once it has been reviewed by the responsible office to ensure it is complete, you will be provided with a permanent application number.

In the meantime, it is not possible to link your application to an online account using the temporary application number in order to view its status.

Rest assured that IRCC is making all the necessary efforts to finalize applications as soon as possible. You will be contacted if additional information is required.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

Did you raise any webform to submit additional documents before?

Yes, I had to make a new application. Do you know if this is the reason why I did not get any pdf with my AOR?
This is just a response to your webform that you raised asking for AOR. They have not started reviewing you application yet. Once you pass the completeness check. They will give you a permanent application number starting with EP. You can still upload any missing documents that you think of using this XEP file number so that the missing document get added to the file which can save you from return file again. But you don’t habe to worry now, they are reviewing 28th-29th august at the moment and you are next in line. I hope you will get you permanent application number (AOR) in 3/4 days . ☺️

I have applied on Oct 31st, should I still get my AOR in 3-4 days as you mentioned?
