Indeed, Provincial Nominees who are not under Express Entry (Non EE for friends) now show a processing time of 20 months. However, it clearly states below: the time counts from the moment we receive the application. This means that if you submitted your permanent residence application BEFORE the update date, the valid processing time is the one that was in effect when you submitted it. Until yesterday, I believe it was 11 months.
Why is this important? Because for us, the Non EE, the process is the same as the regular Express Entry process after receiving the AOR, and the AOR itself takes 6 months.

You should call them. It is unfortunate you have to go through this. Never give up hope.
I have waited 11 months for PGWP to be approved. 2 webform raised and finally i got it , good thing about it is i got 3 years from date of approval and not from applied date. that gave me 4 years worth of PGWP , enough time to plan for getting PR
i got the mail from IRCC for final processing and asking me to reply to their mail with some information for creating PR portal login.
My timeline is simple applied May 29th and got the request in less than 8 months time.
Lot of steps skipped for me , as i was in CANADA before my 18th birthday and never stayed outside Canada for a month. no Police verification and BG checks.
Processing time for Non EE PR application is now showing 20 months!
Does it even make sense to spend nearly two years in limbo, constantly fearing that a small mistake will result in my application being refused?
Not yet. Since my PR application has already entered the 13th month (as per previous processing time) so I was hoping that I shall receive COPR this month instead of WP (my other application for work permit is in process since June 2024). But now everything looks completely uncertain, so shall order for GCMS notes next week.
