maybe they asked for medical later then they asked me, I am not a 100% sure tbh

NDVO has recently started speeding up applications recently. So hold on tight & dont lose faith.

Any news clipping related to this ? like somewhere it is reported - either print media or official website or blog post?

Jan 22/2018 applicant here. Medical done in June. PCC submitted in May. Then file was transferred to NDVO on 22nd August. Current status - "Background check in process". :-(

Why so late medical?

We are processing your background check. It’s been there for months now even after I submitted FBI & Indian PCC. No changes since April. Just waiting for there email.

Do you see something like "We started processing your application on DD MM YYYY" on ecas of PA?

Why so late medical?

They screwed up. Sent me the medical request without the form that contains the medical number or something. It took almost a month before they sent the form.
