Final decision: Not Started

How long will I need to wait for PPR once background check starts ?

It says May 09 2018 we started processing your application.

You just have to wait for there email now. There’s nothing else you can do. Hope for the best they reply in next month.

my file was submitted on feb 13 2018 & transferred to NDVO on May 8th 2018
No news after that....

Same boat. Just have to see whether they will reply in September.

I'm also in the same boat. Applied in Feb. File transferred to NVDO on May 9th and no updates since then. Just says "In Process".

NDVO ;they won't update everything, but all of a sudden something shows up

YES they seem to be doing this now ONLY for certain "less complicated cases" so that they are processed INLAND. Visa Officer makes a decision right here even if the Applicant is Outland. BUT if V/Officer has doubts it could make rather more delays. Because file can still be sent to Visa Office abroad, which will or will not be standing in the same lineup? This I am not sure..May be some senior member will help here.

No, im asking because an abnormally large number of applicants in Sydney were transferred to Mississauga instead of a local VO and I was told that an applicant from NDVO received a second email from Sydney saying that the first transfer was an error and that their application was now being transferred to NDVO, so I just want to hear from that person

Hi everyone. I'm not sure about the next update as the application got transferred to NDVO without the medical being received (atleast not on ECAS). Is it normal ?
