I am new to this forum. I sent my spousal application for my husband in India and the package just got delivered today. One thing I thought about, Indian passports mention father's name, mother's name, and spouse's name. So does my husband need to update his passport with my name on it before sending the spousal application or can that be done later?

It is not mandatory to update your husband's passport with your name. It's your personal choice.
If you choose to update the passport, it can be done during the processing (since you have already sent the application). Make sure that you inform CIC/NDVO with the copy of the new passport.

Hi all, with the help of this forum I have completed all the application.
Just need a confirmation before I send it for processing.
Is it mandatory to produce the receipts as a proof that we exchanged the gifts/ We didn't keep them.
I didn't save the boarding passes, so is it okay if I just keep the passport pages with immigration stamps on it?
please reply, Thank you
You should wait for the request from NDVO. If I am reading correctly, your spouse did medicals in June 2015 and you filed the application in March 2016?
Thanks Vikram for answering my question. And Congrats for your visa. Yes you did get the dates right. I just don't want to leave any chance of delay from my side. I hope to hear soon from NDVO.
It is not mandatory but good to include receipts of gifts. If your don't have them, nothing you can do about it.
Do include the passport pages with immigration stamps. Also if you have the tickets, include them also.
When I sent in my application, I ended up attaching only few receipt. My consultant told me not need to do it cause it makes no difference. But I regret listening to her and not attaching all shopping receipts. I hope it wont affect my application.

I attached only few receipts too. It's Consultant again. But i attached around 100 pictures showing all events and our outings and even shopping together. I hope they will get the point.
