I am Feb 2, 2016 applicant and recently my wife got her visitor visa for a year. Today I checked the status and it says "DM" . No PPR yet , not sure if it is a error but after reading the forum I see lot of people from 2016 are getting DM .Lets wait and see. If it is not an error , then kudos to the government for such a drastic change in the processing time. Awesome job Trudeau . All my future votes are for you . LOL ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Vikram indeed! I can imagine all the other speedy DMs were quite straightforward cases.

Mine isn't the most straightforward case and I expected at least 12-16 months of processing time so it'd be a holy mackerel of a miracle if I see "Decision Made" on ECAS anytime soon.

But man, I guess never say never - I'll be checking my ECAS diligently starting from now on.

You're welcome. I hope your application get processed soon. If you don't mind, could you please share how your is not a straight forward case?

Just got my PPR email.
Applied from Alberta, on January 18th!!
No updates on ECAS,Still says in process. Yet got an email asking to send passport to finalize my application.
Is this a positive sign??
