can anyone please instead of sharing timeline ,share their general case ..eg first marriage..applicant is Pr or in the process of pr himself even??because it really makes a lot difference if applicant is himself under pr application and if they apply for spouse within ,it surely takes less time than others!!
Could you please tell me in a little detail about your profile like:
1. Are you a Canadian Citizen
2. Did you apply for TRV for your spouse?
3. Is your spouse have job in India?
If you could please provide me with any other detail that could be helpful in anticipating when should we expect decision made then that would be awesome!
Cheers
Again, many congratulations to you and your spouse! BTW, you live in Ontario?
Hi Rupinder,
I am a PR. Mine was a pretty straight forward case. First marriage for both of us, same qualification, same caste, same age, traditional marriage with all the rituals, families and friends from both side involved, had engagement six months before the wedding. Provided proofs of all of these.
The only thing that worried me was that my wife had applied twice for TRV (once before marriage and once after) and both the times it was refused. Apparently it did not had any effect.
My spouse runs her own business. I live in SK.

All the sponsors in this section of the forum are already a PR or Canadian Citizen and are sponsoring their Spouse. If you are looking for the applicants whose PR application is still in process and they added their spouse, please look into the section corresponding to the stream under which the applicant applied for PR. Rest of my details are in my above post.
I am Feb 4th applicant, still my ecas shows only 2 lines, they didnt updated my medicals... my AOR 2 (Mar 28, 2016).... any from group also had 2 lines?

I understand your concern and with of 2015 applicants. You have to understand one thing, its been decided by the immigration department that, they are going to process the family sponsorship cases
based on the clearance procedure they learned through syrian refugee program this year. Through which, they processed 25k applicants in 3-4 months.
So, the people who are getting DM, may be based upon easy to process straight forward applications.
But, the process is now fast than before, cheer up and wait a while, you will hear from them soon.
Thanks bud! Yes that does seem to be the case. It could be a couple of weeks plus/minus, however, it seems majority are being processed fairly fast. Hoping for the best! cheers
