Hi RN_0001, I applied CRNBC, CNO. I completed my NNAS Processing. NNAS never asked me to submit IELTS. They issued my advisory report and got ' Not Comparable' both CRNBC & CNO. I applied CRNBC & CNO Regulatory body. and paid assessment fees. Still I did not submit my IELTS. But I am preparing for IELTS examination.
My question is, I checked CRNBC & CNO language requirements of IELTS. I never noticed saying to send the IELTS Result directly form the IDP or British council to nursing regulatory body. Once we got the required score then we can send the IELTS result to Canadian nursing regulatory body . But NNAS had clearly mentioned that IELTS result must be sent directly from IDP.

Is it better to sit the NCLEX in your home country and take some of the stress out of the situation? I thought about travelling to Canada to sit it but decided it would be crazy for me to spend all the extra money and create unnecessary stress by travelling.

Hi recently joined this forum, I am a adult trained nurse from the U.K I recently applied to NNAS & was deemed comparable, proceeded to apply to CARNA & they informed me that I lacked on peads and neonatal nursing. They me informed I need to complete these two courses @ either mount royal or McEwan. Mount Royal is full and McEwan are not taking this fall as not enough ppl registered. I seek advice if anyone is in the same situation or has experienced this I intend to come to Alberta when I am able to start them courses but my question is about visa status do I apply for a study permit? Visitors Visa ( because you can study if it less then 6 months). I intended to finish the course then apply for a temporary permit whilst still there also change to a work permit. Is this possible? And meanwhile would I be allowed to work so as to support myself in any job? Until CARNA issue me a temporary permit
I applied to CNO after my NNAS advisory report. I applied CNO through NNAS provided link. But I didn't get any confirmation email or anything till this time. How long would it take to hear from CNO????

Oh sorry, I replied in Tagalog. My husband is applying for Student visa while spousal open work permit for me, my last hospital experience was 2010, then I worked as a clinic nurse from 2011 to 2015. Will I still be eligible to take RPN exam even my safe practice already expired? I graduated BSN here 2008, passed the board exam for nurses in the same year. Can you share your insights if it's a good move if I go for NNAS assessment now while we are here or should I take Nursing related course in Canada first? Thank you!
hello po. bakit po hindi na lang ikaw ang mag student? (why not study in Canada instead?). You will not be able to study because you are on an open work permit, and not a student permit.
