Also , please share your timelines. When did you applied online? When did you receive checklist? When were your documents received by MIDI? When was your CSQ issued? When did you receive CSQ in mailbox? Your current location? Your status in Quebec ( Student , Work Permit or LMIA approved)?
There are a lot of factors that make the time required for a visa go up to a maximum of 13 months, in many cases it's less than that.
Even a non cap exempt candidates with a priority in his area of training gets a visa in less than that. When they deliver him the CSQ, it's written on it : priority treatment.

Yeah on CSQ it is mentioned Priority(code 130 -something) but it looks to be applicable for CSQ only , i think federal don't have any priority as such.

The agent told me that after that is done, we'll do a preliminary review on your application (at least a month) and will get back to you! Don't have a good feeling about the delay
