Just got my BVL for both parents an hour ago today. hopefully will getting PPR either today or next week. finger crossed.

Congrats. Did the Background verification got Started/In progress or completed directly?

I got action required in the application of my father but when I opened it nothing was there. Earlier asked for additional document and it is written we got your documents and nothing else was inside the application. Was it a ghost update?

background in progress still. but this morning eligibility showed completed. no PPR yet, likely because the visa office closed since Friday in Canada is Saturday in China.

I am also able to see visitor visa details in tracker such as visitor visa document number and expiry date (under document status).

I applied for my parents from Pakistan on 10th of April and Biometrics were completed on 15th April. So far no update. What's your timeline?

I am already a pgwp holder . I came India and applied for trv renewal . I applied on april8. My tracker shows bio done.. since I did in 2017 when I went and background in process , nothing after that . Tracker updated last april29. What’s happening any idea ? I’m stuck here and no reply to even web forms ! How long shall i expect? As returning worker.

No such thing as TRV renewal. It is a new application. It doesn’t matter that you have PGWP, you are in the queue with all the other TRV applications being processed. Hopefully you will get a response soon.

Applied March 19th and got request for passport yesterday. Funny thing is I contacted IRCC through webform yesterday asking for an update mentioning the travel date (June 2nd stated on the application) was coming up. And got the request right after. I doubt it is a coincidence

Keep in mind my parents have had valid Canadian visitor visas for the past 10 years or so
