Hi Friends ,
just to share good news that my sisters Visa got approved. 1 day back only i posted on this group and somehow just a day after she got approved

when did it approved time? congratulation

Any update on March Application ? April application getting approval already but seems March stuck somewhere and already passed 43 Days time.


Applied : 27th March for sister and kid (India)
Bio Metric : Completed 28th March from Previous application
Eligibility : In progress since 22nd April
Background: In progress

Hi Everyone, below are the dates for my parents TRV from India.

Application Submitted : 30 March 2024
Biometric Request : 30 March 2024
Biometric Submitted : April 5 2024
Biometric Updated : April 8 2024
Background Verification : In Progress
Eligibility : Not started

No updates after that

Still waiting for my parents TRV (old visa expired in 2022) from China (average processing time decreased from 32 days to 29 days).

Applied using the New IRCC portal:
Application Submitted : 22 March 2024
Biometric Request : 23 March 2024
Biometric Submitted : 27 March 2024
Biometric Updated : 27 March 2024
Background Verification : In Progress
Eligibility : Not started


Not even any ghost update on the new IRCC portal or tracker. I made 2nd application using IRCC secure portal (GCKey) on May 7th.
Webform raised on May 3rd and May 6th, replies appeared to be non-robotic but still just telling me to wait.... My parents probably won't make it for my convocation on May 30th.

On the tracker is states

"Payment of biometric fees
We sent you a message with instructions on how to pay your biometric fees. Once we’ve processed your payment, we’ll send instructions on when and how to give your biometrics. Please complete by the date shown in your message."

Although the fee was paid at the time of application and biometrics were completed thereafter

No idea what the delay is or what is happening

Please use https://ircc.canada.ca/english/information/fees/pay.asp to understand if you paid enough fees.

Pay the difference if any, and raise a webform.

Otherwise raise a webform to address your concern, if you crossed the processing time for your country.

Obviously the system generates the correct fee to be paid when one applies and that was paid

Raised a webform a few weeks ago and their response was to provide the applicant details. How stupid because both applicant details were provided in the webform
