Applied March 19th and got request for passport yesterday. Funny thing is I contacted IRCC through webform yesterday asking for an update mentioning the travel date (June 2nd stated on the application) was coming up. And got the request right after. I doubt it is a coincidence

Keep in mind my parents have had valid Canadian visitor visas for the past 10 years or so

Congratulations.. this is the first time for my parents.. looking at your timeline 2 months is the least amount of time for Pakistani applications so I am planning to send a webform around 15th June as they are planning to travel in July. Thanks for the info.

Anyone else here has a timeline of rejection / approval applied in March/ April? I applied on 10th April in 10 days 2 months will be completed. however processing times are now 101 days which was 90 days before when I Applied. I am losing hope that my parents will be able to travel in time.
