I just got an email saying we have received the application with a UCI number from CIC. So what does this mean ?

we both applied on the same date , still no updates from CIC.

YaY!! While I was driving to Quebec yesterday (April 13) to see hubby, he got the e-mail!! We got AOR-1!!

They said that they received our application on 3-15-2016, but i don't think that's possible because we mailed it on 3/15 and they received it 3/16. I guess in the grand scheme of things that doesn't really matter.

So our time line is :

Mailed App ------3/15/2016
App Delivered---3/16/2016
AOR1 ------------4/13/2016

We are so excited! Good luck to everyone still waiting for AOR1 and those waiting for SA! Hopefully these fast processing times will continue for the duration of our journeys!

a quick question I still cannot access ECAS maybe I'm making a mistake but where it says country do i put Canada? since I'm the sponsor or do i put country of birth?

Today morning, I received AOR1 ...application was received by CIC on 16th March, 2016

It should be the information of the sponsor (i.e. Canadian), their family name, date of birth and country of birth.

Hope we receive SA soon and I think we can access ECAS after few days.

I just received an email about SA and it's been forwarded to Ottawa. My timeline is received March 9, AOR 1 on April 2 and approval April 14.

Also when I received AOR1 it took me at least 5 or 6 days before I could access my account online. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've updated it but somehow it doesn't automatically count. Where the numbers are bolded it doesn't seem to auto fill for me. It leaves it blank.
