My wife just got an email with our AOR and UCI ;D ;D ;D

Great news at the end of a long week!

I got AOR too !!! I'm so happy. They are certainly quicker ;D As the email says, to only contact CIC for address changes or divorce, adoption etc ... I was wondering if I could inform CIC of my new job? I feel like it's really important for my application. Will it slow down my application? Will they even take it into consideration? What are your thoughts?

probably not. consider family sponsorship of spousal has no requirement of income cutoff.

I have applied on March 1 , 2016 for spousal open work permit ..
Haven't got any response after that ..
Does anybody get response who applied on and after February 15 ??

Did you apply inland for the spousal sponsorship? There is no open work permit for applying outland. If you applied inland, post your query on the inland thread. You'll get better response there.

Congrats to all who have received their AOR .Still waiting for mine ,it's been 22 days since they received my application .
Hope to get it in the coming days and same for those who haven't received yet.

probably not. consider family sponsorship of spousal has no requirement of income cutoff.

Even if it isn't about the income, you should still update CIC about your job changes. In case they interview your spouse and ask about current job, it can cause an issue, why leave something to a chance?

Our package was received on only the 29th March and I am having nightmares that my package keeps getting returned to me...this is going to be a very very long wait lol.

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/03/24 on behalf of the following member(s):

When i check ecas status it does show anything . Please help. Thank u

I keep checking CIC online status with my receipt number everyday. Don't know if that works at all but anything is better than nothing lol.

congrats! Looks like you got approved to sponsor. From what I read on here it takes a couple days after e-mail that they sent your application to VO.
