Hi, hpate14700 , I would want to know when did you submit the application? And what country are you ? Did you recieved any things e.g. e-mail or any letter from CIC before approval ? I am Hong Kong , may be our case is too slow, I send my application on 15 March , I know that they need to pass all the document to HK for approval, so I need to wait for a long time !

BUT, when you post that you have been approved, I think it would be more helpful to others if you included a bit more information, such as:

1. Did your approval get sent by e-mail or regular mail
2. From which office - CIC-M or CIC-O
3. Date your application was received

submitted my file without the Medicals :-[, hoping it wont come back without any dust on the file....

hope it comes back with at least a file number for me to send the medical in a week or two...

My visa office is new delhi and my wife got letter today. I havent read the letter yet cause I am out of town right now so I.cant talk to much but I will update soon.

Just a quick reminder to all the ''newbies'' if you want to be added to the spreadsheet please provide the date the application was sent and received the Visa Office and if you would like your destination. Messaging me in private is easier as if I'm away for a little while i don't want to miss it. Good luck to everyone!

Yeah... we have just received an email of approval ... am just overjoyed here !!

Although I am confused about one thing ... they emailed my husband and told him he was approved to sponsor me... but then put my Maiden name instead of my married name??? Is this normal or is there some kind of mistake that I will have to contact them about please does anyone know?

They used my maiden name too because that what we put in our application (Since they need the info in my current passport) and haven't change it yet...
