Okay it's now 90 days for me. My mom who works for CP has been keeping an eye out for our mail, ahhh. After that one letter, I have been bouncing around waiting. *cue me bouncing some more and my dog staring at me*

Ours file received by Mississauga on March 29th
Waiting for approval of sponsorship and file transfer.

So I guess the last applicant who got approval was from March 12th.....Anyone after March 12th got approval......
I hope they atleast reach March 20th by the end of this week and Mine is March 21st.....

I'm march 23 and nothing for me but yes please please keep us updated.. I think I remember reading someone from march 9th and 12 getting approved but then someone from march 1st saying they hadn't so I think it might be all over the map ..but here to hoping march 20s will be early next week!!!

Hello to everyone here! My husband and I come across these questions in IMM 5490 which is Maintaining Contact... so here is my concern:
question 25. Have you visited your sponsor during the period of your relationship? we answered NO because he wasn't able to come and visit me here in canada since he needs a visa to get here..so my concern is what is the best explanation to it that would not question us back about it..thank you

Well it depends, yes he needs to get a visa but at the same point question is did he try to get one? Just be honest and say that he was working and banking his vacation days before the marriage so he cudnt come and see me here in canada. they also know that canada is not like a bus to niagra falls you need atleast good 3/4 weeks off..

so just let them know that he was busy working and taking care of his family back home.
that should be good enuf..

I am march 20, just by saying that you made me so happy pinder...I wish they can reach 20 this week, but looking at the speed I think it will be next week sometime.

I checked CIC today, the status showed as Decision Made.

It goes on to say : We sent you a letter on June 4, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I haven`t got any letter yet.

Hopefully, it means my sponsorship application is approved. My application was received on 8`th March 2012.

Congrats on your approval!! =) If you call them tomorrow they will tell you over the phone that you were approved.
