I've applied for Permanent Residency through the CEC programme with my AOR in May 2020. I ordered GCMS notes in June of this year which have arrived indicating that my application has now been moved to the London office. Just a few questions regarding this.
Firstly, what is the purpose of sending applications to London when everything is online now anyway? And secondly, do applications get processed at the High Commision, or the VAC centre (where I gave Biometrics) and is it worth calling up them up to ask for information on my application?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance all

Applications are processed at the high commission. Whether it’s worth calling is up to you, I’d imagine you’re likely to get a boilerplate response explaining that processing is delayed due to COVID.
Our timelines are almost identical!! - Every step about a day out from one another! Our AOR2 was 9th of August though and we got pre arrival letter and medical request in September. As of yesterday, we got DM on ECAS so just waiting for PPR now. Surprised at how fast everything is moving at this office now.
Hi all,
New to this forum and following is my brief timeline:
Nationality: Pakistani
Residence: Ireland
Biometric:7 July 2021
London VO acknowledgement: 1 September 2021
Nothing after this and no medical request or anything. Is that normal?

I just received the medical letter to get the medical exam conducted within 30 days from today. I am based out of Dublin and the only clinic offering the visa medical is booked out until end of December. The letter states that I should inform IRCC incase I will not be able to submit my medicals within 30 days. Has anyone else experienced such a situation where you you have to inform IRCC of a substantial delay? I hope they don not stop processing of the application till this is done.

Have you considered popping into London or Manchester? There are several clinics that do the medical in London, you could be there and back in a day. Manchester has at least a couple, too. Just a thought. It's an additional expense, of course..
