Did you get a request for remedial then? :/

yes we got IME request....medical done last week - and also ....very much unexpectedly it was noticed by IRCC within 2 days and they have updated the GC Key portal that medical is passed.

technically - they should have given the Final Decision and sent us the PPR also at the same time. It should be an automated process, where an AI checks if all previous steps are done - Just copy applicant details - send out PPR email....But Nahh.. thats not what happens in IRCC world. They are using some AI tool - not sure if its AI or GD (Genuinely DUMB) TOOL, which is programmed only to blindly refuse visas.

Jokes aside, that 1 week waiting torture is must ritual for IRCC officers.
Every step has to have at least 1 week torture...thats the best case scenario.

Firstly - im not sir :) Just another person suffering at the hands of CIC and their torturous waiting game.

CONGRATS!!! Your wife got the final thing --- See the Visa Stamp on the passport - that's the final thing you need. Now forget about tracker and whatever they upload there.
You got the visa...thats what matters!

If COPR and Visa is valid till May 29, 2025 - Technically you can arrive on May 29 and you should be fine. But do you know if there will be flight delay of 24 hours? Or God forbid, just a week before your wife is not feeling well and have to delay the flight for a week?

Unless there is a strong reason - job/exam/ something else which is making you delay the trip --DONT DELAY THE ARRIVAL. Arrive as early as possible. Weather in most of Canada (not talking about NWT or Yukon) starts to get warmer by end March / April. So plan to arrive in April or even early May.

Also start checking the ticket prices. The more you delay towards summer, the prices will go further up. All the best and lots of congratulations..

Thanks alot! would we require a protector stamp since my wife will be traveling from Pakistan on a PR Visa?

Ahh classic IRCC. I truly hope this is the beginning of the end for your application process!
