You are not alone waiting for LMO, may be I am one of the guy who has been waiting for a long time... hope it will add some news to all of you.... not sure in positive or negative way... also my wp is expiring end of sep so I need LMO asap to extend my wp.

My LMO was applied on 21st may ...
I got the job offer in middle April. And I was supposed to enter CA with ALMO. But after my employer checked with agent, ALMO is shut down. So my employer started to publish the ad as LMO required. And the diplomats went on strike.
Until July 29th my application is submitted to Vancouver, BC.
Don't worried its take more time if your wp expiring in near time than tell us employer to call service Canada and get Lmo application file number and than you can apply wp with explanation letter.
My LMO finally came through. I will share the time line.
Applied for LMO: 21st March, 2013
First call from Service Canada: 1st week of May, 2013

LMO recieved through fax: 20th of September.
