Thanks .....
But the situation does not shows improved as NOC - 2174 falls under skilled labour.
And does IT people face so much of Scrutiny in their case ???
Also I am hoping you should be getting your LMO Anytime soon.

True. I don't see any difference whether LMO is applied on low-skilled job or High-skilled job. Somehow, I feel the processing time can vary based on province, BC being the most time taking :'(
I haven't heard an application taking that long. Usually if that happens, it means your application got declined and the employer tried again without notifying you.
Province is British Columbia and NOC is 0611. As per my employer, Service Canada is processing the cases very slowly and he also told me that the result should come very soon maybe in a couple of weeks.
hello to everyone...
i am applying for live in caregiver in Vancouver, BC
my employer applied for LMO on march 12, 2014
readvertisement on may 15 to 30 due to wage/salary... my employer raised the offered salary then posted again on workbc.com
So interestingly enough, after I posted above I got an email from my employer saying that she spoke to Service Canada earlier this week and they confirmed receipt of application but said processing hasn't started.
NOC 2122
Applied June 16, 2014
Province: Manitoba
Status: Not yet processed after 4 weeks
Talked with my employer, they say there is no problem is just that the officer is deliberately scrutinizing the application and asking a lot of extra information and confirmation of everything. He couldn't find anything wrong, so I would assume sooner or later we'll be done with that but.. my luck.. Other people get it in 10 weeks and I have to wait 24..
