I landed at Toronto on 5th via london. Everything was good. The immigration officers were very polite. All of them were young girls and guys. The asked me about the cash that i was carrying. They did not take my B4 forms. The gave me another form and told me to fill it. Next day i want to TD canada and opened an account and got my SIN number.....
Traveled by Brampton Transit.....and man it's hot here. Yesterday it touched 40...i could'nt believe it is Canada...!!!!
The only thing that sucks here is the cell phone plans....very costly when u compare it to INDIA. I went to get roger's or bell connection whit the Apple 3GS connection but all the 4 outlets i visited said that the 3GS are sold out as the 4G will be launching. So decided to get a Koodo for now and will get the 4G when it is out....

Other than landing experiene courious to know about the routine life(The one you told about mobile services & temp thing). What you see the biggest different between your home country & CANADA(Now home country).
Hope to see such details in your next posts
Wish you all the best in future.. have a rocking life and career ahead.
Hey, Congrats! And Welcome Aboard!
Pre-book that, else on the D-day (& for sometime) u'd find them gone as well (sold out). U can pre-book it online@Apple. Or visit the Apple Store@Square One, Mississauga.
But avoid pre-booking@Bell, Rogers, Fido & Koodo, 'coz they'd be locked for a 3yrs contract. With Apple it's [supposedly] coming unlocked, this time. Then the choice could be enormous. Which is really a relief, blessing I'd say.
Today I got my PR Card. Man they have changed these cards they have got a photo hologram now and the quality has gone bad its more slim, any ways I am very happy. It took almost 45 days for the PR to come after landing.
