Come again? The interview with the officer is not the same day? Why does Kitchener office have a different policy? Btw, I just learned my file is in this local office.
I didn't want to torture the nice lady too much. It was looong after 4 pm and she still took my call (I was waiting on the line meh meh). So, I did not ask about the date. I know that when they updated the system on Sep 23 my received line was gone. I'm guessing the transfer happened around that day +/-1. Yay for the same test date!
Kitchener is one of the smaller offices with nice CIC officers. Did you have a lot of stamps in your passport? Never heard of interviews running an hour long.
Guys a quick question for the ones that took the exam in this office, I'm schedule for 8:30 am on October 23 just want to know for how long am I going to be in the office that day, i have heard the test is rather quick, but the test interview and whatever else How long does that take??
m I going to have part of that day back to me, m i going to be out by lunch time?
It took at least 20-30 mins interview with all people who did the test...be ready to discuss all info you put into your application which you might have submitted more than 3 yrs ago

Congrats egyo and hopefully you will get your oath invite soon. I am not sure if you have gotten the oath invite right after interview or not. Either way best of luck.
Got nothing my dear...the officer said they might need more docs (although I had all with me in the interview and proposed whatever they need)...anyway, still waiting for the light at the end of this dark tunnel!

I had a different experience. My interview was about 5 minutes or less. No question about my work or family. Just looked at my passport and that was it.
Stay positive, your oath invite will come very soon.
