Got a request to submit scanned copy of my passports for a period of 5 years. Hope the next step will be Oath.

I got the same request and I sent them files 1 month ago, but my application status is still waiting for me to send them documents. Have you got any updates on your status?

Got Completed on all except Citizenship Ceremony. Fingers crossed!

I also got the request for passport scanned copies which I sent very next day but I also didn't get any change in application status. Then I emailed to same initial person and got an answer yesterday that they got requested docs. My application is still in process for physical presence, Language and prohibitions.

You will get it in next week hopefully. If you don't get AOR until end of this month then check your ECAS with help of your UCI . In my case I didn't get any AOR after three months then I checked ECAS status which was updated that we received your application and sent you discover Canada book. Then after that I called them and asked to send me me AOR.

Yes they sent me an email in which they sent me my application number.

Feb 2018 applicant. Citizenship granted recently. Finally, the process is over for me.

Timeline:

Local Office: Kitchener, ON
Application Type: Protected Person based PR, leading to Citizenship. No refugee cessation issues.

Feb 2018 - Application sent
September 2019 - Background check completed
January 2020 - Federal Court Application filed
April 2020 - Approval Received from Case Management Branch (CMB)
June 2020 - Affidavit received from the case officer that file will be processed on priority basis
May 2021 - Test Scheduled
September 2021- Interview Required
Oath - October 2021

Yes. Everything moved to completed, except citizenship ceremony.
