Me too. applied as family in June 2024, test passed august 30th, background completed before test, LPP pending...no updates since exam marked as completed on september 3...
okay finally i received a mail confirming my oath date as January 21, 2025.
It's been a long wait and thanks for all your support. Wish all the best for everyone else.
Also, strangely even though i applied for e-certificate, they gave me the in-person oath. That question is not mandatory I guess they will make the decision at the end anyway.

I have gone through the oath invitation and it is asking for us to bring a few documents to the venue, which is fine. Also, it gave the option to chose between a physical certificate on the date of the oath or an e-certificate which will take 2 - 5 days. Obviously I would like to go with the physical on the day of Oath. Do I need to confirm something before the date with them? send a few docs and let them know in advance what my preference is? Or do I just show up on the oath day with what's needed and let them know then what my preference is?
Nothing is mentioned in the letter so thought I can clarify this here. Thanks.

They will give you paper certificate by default in an in-person ceremony. During the registration process, the clerk will ask you if you want an e-certificate instead and you can chose that if you prefer, but of course it will take 1-5 business days. Some clerks don't even ask and if you aren't interested in it anyways you don't have to do anything. Good luck and congratulations.
Hello @hssrp and @maverick1982 , I hope everyone is doing great I have my BLS Vancouver appointment for my Indian passport surrendering. My question is I have only my Canadian Certificate and not the passport yet. I won't need the passport right? On the form there was a column asking for Canadian Passport but that was not a required field. I can surrender with my certificate only right?
