In India FRRO offices deals in India to issue OCI card .so no problem in India to apply and get OCI.same process.i got my son OCI card in India.

But what about work eligibility till the OCI does not comes?

You need a work visa or OCI. Also you need to be in India on entry visa to apply for OCI. It wont work with evisa.

I applied my son OCI in 2014 in FRRO Amritsar Punjab and they issue loci ess than two months.so u can wait or get work visa

Ordered GCMS notes about a month ago and received them as of today. It says amongs other things:

Prohibitions: Not started
Physical presence: Not started
Language: Not started

For info, my citizenship test is complete and background verification completed.

Is this normal, that LPP and the rest are not started at this point?

In addition, Noticed a Ghost Update yesterday, I suspect it was only triggered by GCMS notes release.

Any thoughts?

Where I need to apply new Canada passport .Can I apply new passport by hand in Manitoba and can collect by hand by paying urgent or express fee? How much passport fee under urgent pick up and Express pick up
