My wife's citizenship test was not considered due to some technical glitch and she has received a letter for in person test in Scarborough office, followed by an interview. This came out of no where and is making us little anxious.

Is someone in the similar situation or has recently been through such situation ? Any inputs will be very helpful and much appreciated.

When was her test before she did online, do you have proof she passed the test picture or email.

You can create a tracking account for children as well, but they won't see any status updates. The child's application is only completed once the parent's application is finalized. The oath ceremony will be taken together as a family.

I’m currently living in Canada. During my eligibility period I was out of country for about 3.5 months. If that is the cause for interview I shall be able to show my passports for travel history. Other than that I never been outside Canada including the period while I was on work permit for about 2.5 years before I became PR in 2021 September.

whats your background In terms of travel. do you have a bunch of travel outside Canada during eligibility period? Or are you currently away?

Typically when there are physical presence questions is when i’ve noticed interview invites, mostly but not always. Questions are very basic as mentioned by someone who responded to your previous comment.

Exactly the same boat buddy..and I used to believe Scarborough is comparatively faster.

AOR July 12th/ Fingerprint Done/ Test Done( 19/20)/Background Updated - 17th Aug 2024 and then complete silence to this moment. Called IRCC . NO luck , standard answer that application under process. Applied ATIP / received notes yesterday evening -4th Nov 2024. Background , criminality completed . LPP not started . I don't even see any officer assigned in the notes ( blank space). Sydney /NS Office - Primary Office and Niagara Falls - Secondary Office.

We are in the same boat - playing the waiting game. Tests completed for spouse and self in early Sep and silence since then.

Received two emails Today morning from: IRCC.DNMISCitizenshipScheduling-ConvocationCitoyenneteMISRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca.

Email-1: To submit the copy of my passport all pages during eligibility period
Email-2: About an hour later, to appear for MS Teams interview on 11/20.

My primary office is: Scarborough, wondering the interview request received from Mississauga Convocation DL.

I contacted IRCC my Security is completed, pending for Criminal for which I already submitted fingerprints.
Hopefully, my application is moving in right direction.

I got an update in my tracker, it is showing that a letter was sent to me to request fingerprint but i have not received that letter , the update was done on 4th nov but appeared this morning …is this how it works? Or should I contact IRCC to ask ?or the letter is coming after the update?

Tracker show's fingerprint request at Oct 22nd.

Language and Physical Presence updated today. Dated 4th Nov on tracker.
