Not sure. My eligibility was pass on 10th Oct by case analyst and till now no officer has taken any action. Unless they clear all these backlogs by some alternative ways we may not hear any good until 2021

At least there are some occasional PPRs for CEC. Haven't seen any movement for FSW from Ottawa.

Ah!! ‍ I filled a webform last Monday and I'm yet to get a response till now. An alternative way to clear the backlogs can be to approve all applications

No idea what's their plan when they invite 5000 every round now. Sydney seems much more efficient so far.

I called IRCC (3 days back) to get update on my file the agent said I have passed the eligibility, criminality, background, now waiting for the final decision. However, in my CIC account it still says "we are processing your background check and application is in progress". Can somebody share their experience or piece of knowledge ? How long does it take for COPR after passing the above stages and if the CIC account shows general table for everybody (with no recent updates)? Please and Thank you !!

Hi, does yours say "We will send you a message if we need more information" in your background check?

The online status is quite meaningless after medical pass. Background check will remain in progress until after your application is approved. Calling is still the quickest way of knowing which stage you're at.

Can you share the dial-in number at which you called? I called @ 1-888-242-2100 and it is picked up by Service Canada not IRCC.
