Our application arrived in Mississauga on July 12th and we got an email confirming AOR today as well. Average time seems to be under three weeks

May I ask again, what the exact meanings of

• AOR received from CIC
• AOR1
• AOR2

are? (referring to the July 2016 spreadsheet linked in one of the first posts)

AOR=acknowledgement of receipt

The first AOR you get is when CIC starts processing your sponsor application and AOR2 is when they start processing the principal applicant's.

Great to hear some people are receiving their AOR1's!
We got ours on July 21st and now we are anxiously waiting for me to be approved as a sponsor. It's so nerve wrecking, hahaha.
Though I know there is no minimum wages to meet or anything like that.

It does appear to be about an 18-21 day wait for AOR 1. As well, Monday was a civic holiday so things might get pushed back a bit.

My application was received on July 14 in Mississauga office, I received the AOR 1 today
