My application has been forwarded to VO about 2 weeks ago, but my medical results are not passed yet!
I'm getting a bit worried, not sure if that's normal!
Hi can someone please tell me what's the difference between ECAS and MyCIC? Also when do they check the Medicals before or after VO? As far as I understood that when u do all the tests before u apply,if the doctors don't contact you for 2 weeks, the results is automatically uploaded to the system and that means everything is fine and you passed the tests.
Please explain
Thank you
I received my AOR2 from VO on Sept 1. My application has been forwarded to Hong Kong VO for processing and requested for any documents if not yet submitted.

1) ECAS is the old way of checking application status online. It's not very detailed, but you can use it to make address changes. MyCIC is new, just starting in July. It will show a little more detail about your application process, and show if the app has been approved (where ECAS just says Decision Made).
2) Usually after the application goes to the VO, although they'll sometimes show the medical being received and Passed on MyCIC before it goes out.
3) I think that's basically how it works for the medical. In my case, my Panel Physician told me I probably passed during a follow-up appointment with him about two weeks after my initial exam.
Ok got it,thank you for ur reply. I have a question now where u required to do a follow up ? I only did it once and then they submitted it directly. They told me if something wrong then they will contact me, but they didn't so they submitted it.
Thank you
Do i qualify to be a part of this group? I completed my application package and sent it via DHL to CPC mississauga. I am still waiting to recieve my AOR1 and UCI number.
Some people don't get AOR1, but you can always try calling them. Most don't try calling until the time they should be getting SA, I'm not sure what the average wait is for that now. Some people don't even get notified about SA. I never got notified about AOR2, nor has my ECAS been updated yet....however I can't call because I am not currently in Canada. If it was me, I'd be calling......just sayin' Good Luck

The only reason I had a follow-up appointment was a tiny bit of blood in my UA. They scheduled me to return 8 days later for a repeat UA, and asked me to get some old ultrasound records if I didn't feel like paying for a new one (I have a very small kidney stone).
A couple days later, I went to the fair at Vermilion. Ate some "mini-donuts", and ended up in the ED with horrible pain a few hours later. Rancid oil they were cooked in caused pancreatitis. Had a new ultrasound, paid for by Alberta Health (married PR applicants can get health in AB). Kidney stone is still there, very small. Dr says that the pancreas was probably already infected, said the blood was from that. Medical was passed.
Hi on the te SA side I have DM and on PA side it's still in Process but now I have a line that says that they sent correspondence about the receipt of my application on September 2nd, does that mean AOR2? Also it says they started processing my application on August 30th.
