I guess you are talking about COPR (certificate of permanent residence) which will be issued when your mom will do the landing. Check the expiry on permanent resident visa, your mom should do landing before that date, you can book the appointment with inland cic office ?

mom had already got her 1st letter of confirmation but there is no appearance date/interview yet. we are still waiting for it

Hi everyone, I need help pl,Im July 6 applicant, I ordered GCMS notes and it looks like they have calculated only 17 months of my work experience ,the reason is they counted the experience till the date of my Reference letter whereas I worked another yr after that too,,what should I do now??????????Pls help anyone

HI Gagan.
Step 1 - email CPP-O - explain to them that the employer reference letter you attached with the application was old. You continued to work in that company for one more year (or whatever time period amounts to the day you applied for CEC). Inform them that you will be updating them an updated reference letter.

Step 2 - Urgently contact your employer to get an update letter. Ask them firstly to send the through email and another copy printed on official letter head - signed or stamped by your HR Manager or Boss ...who ever signed the first one.

Step 3 - Forward the emailed letter from to CPP-O. Inform them that you are sending the hard copy as well. Send the hard copy through priority post.

It might work out, but you may have to act lightning fast. Its a weekend, but you can at least try.

thanks very much Info seeker, I hope they consider my email and hardcopy and dont refuse my application after waiting for 11 months, God save me.....They last updated my status on 31 January 2013,since then the file says REVIEW REQUIRED,,

Gagan. Do you know the no. of weeks you had worked full time at the time of application? If its 2 years, at the time of application, then everything should be fine. Send that extra letter emphasizing the amount of weeks you have worked full time up to the date of your CEC application.

Hammad on the 6th page it says everything MET except work experience NOT met and then on statuatry declaration It says 2 years or more, I am really worried......

30 months should fulfill the requirements as its just 24 months.

Were your work hours 37.5 hours weekly? But if it were less, still the 6 months should balance it out.

What date you started working full time? What kind of WP you had on that date.

ok, if they have explicitly made that remark. Then you know the problem and you have the cure. Just get an updated reference letter and send it their way ASAP...

See, when you receive that GCMS pdf - the email says that you can contact them to correct any info. This is the info which needs to be corrected. I believe its visa officer who has wrongly calculated your working duration. You shouldn't be worried at all. Just in get in touch with them asap and let them know you will send them updated letter.

Yes, thanks alot Im just emailed my company for that and email CPP just in case they just dont wake up afte so long on Monday and refuse my aplication without thinking ,The funny thing is I had my FSW application still in process from March 2011 with no Medicals,what a bizzare my life has become
