For me it is first time about ghost update during non maintenance days on GCKey for past 5 visa applications, three for me, one for spouse one for child never seen ghost updates. In actual this is reals profile status updates today

first at 10am then then file status changed (Application/profile updated )
then its came as submitted for 2/3 hours
and now again at 1pm (Application/profile updated )

i think visa officer done his job

My spouse trv got rejected twice. I had submitted property documents, strong bank statements, enough home ties, flight tickets, travel itinerary.
Still they rejected with purpose of visit, home ties and financial status.

Do you guys know if I proceed with judicial review, what is the procedure. If I apply now how long will it take to get the results?
How much is the chance of approval?

What is your status here in Canada? If you are PR, do you have an ongoing spousal PR sponsorship in place?
Speak to a good law firm and assess your options.

JR is definitely one among them.

Judicial review standard fees for lawyers start from 5000$ for an early out-of-court settlement and if it goes to the hearing stage then it cost will not be less than 8000$ but may be above...... If you can afford judicial Review you should go for it..... Remember if the judge dismisses the case then your money will be completely wasted and even after Judicial Review if a new visa officer still refuses ur spouse application then this money will be wasted.. People are encouraged to pursue judicial review if they think that their case is strong enough in front of IRCC lawyer for early settlement or in front of the judge during the hearing stage

spouse refusal work permit with my first application refused on 5th Nov so he cant pursue judicial review nor his file can reopen.

child visit visa application was linked with my second study application on which i pursued JR and child refusal came on 11 Feb which means i can pursue his judicial review till 10 April. so for that today i requested in advance child GCMS notes also my own GCMS notes just for fun if my visa approves within the month. As soon my application approves inshaAllah then i will follow the child application for judicial review because it was linked with my 2nd application on which i got a settlement and waiting for the decision

Wouldn't it be better to reapply for your dependents once you get yours instead of going for a JR?

I will prefer JR for child visit because its took 3 months last time decision. In JR settlement wil come in a month without any trouble. Today my account is quiet. No changes

Processing is fast these days so it won't take 3 months now.

Shabbar file not open yet. The other lady seen ghost update yesterday. Rest quiet. I will recheck account after one hour

@aspirant256 i think judicial review will give better chance for minor visit visa. What will happen that different visa offier will review the file. Will receive early settlement becsuse its very simple if PA got settlement then linked applicant file should reopen as well with different visa officer which means chances will increase.

On other option applying again may get refusal after 2 to 3 month wating for decision and then pursuing for JR not a wise decision.

Going now on JR seems wise decision because different visa officer who will issue PA Visa (my study permit) and same officer will surely issue minor visa...... i really hoping and feeling positive this time for my study permit approval. Rest Allah knows approval or refusal after settlement.

Your family's visa is dependent on you. JR is only possible if you get your PPR, receive their gcms notes and initiate JR, all within 60 days of their refusal. Go for a JR if you are confident about it.
