Hello guys anyone waiting for rule 9 notes, my lawyer applied for rule 9 notes on 20 Jan 2022 , he advised me that we would receive it in about 45 days, but didn't heard anything yet.
The status on federal court website shows that the request for rule 9 to IRCC was sent on 2 March 2022.
Any inputs will be appreciated as it been so long , Why did IRCC sent request for rule to IRCC on 2 March as the same has been filed by my lawyer on 20 Jan. Is this delay common guys?
if the lawyer is intelligent or yourself intelligent then do not persure rule 9 after Judicial Review, in my case when i got refusal then same day i applied CBSA notes and GCMS notes because i had planned earlier for Judicial review, my 2nd visa was refused on 16 Dec and same day i submiited for notes, in mean time i applied for Judiial Review on 7 january and stated that i have received notes but in reality i did not receive, i received notes on 29 Jan and 4 Feb i submmitted applicant record and 17 Feb i received settlment.
do not pursue rule 9 and try to apply your notes yourself same day after refusal then it can save your big months for rule 9

My lawyer told me that applying for rule 9 will be quicker then GCMS , I have my previous 5 refusals for study visa , all the time I applied for GCMS and received within max 40 days time .
I don't know what to do , should I apply for GCMS now or wait for rule 9 as the request was sent to IRCC on 2 March . or it could take another 5-6 weeks

no u neeed to wait because in leave application your lawyer stated no written reason received, therefore u cannot apply notes now and even if u receive before ircc send u on court request then its not beneficial because its long procedure to ammened the application for rule 9, u need to wait now and let see when u receive notes, 5 time refusal oh, i have 3 refusal and received settlement

i seen people here received rule 9 in 10 days and it should not take more then a month, in ur case the delayed was from court as sent request on 2 march, hope u will get in this month

Okay thank you and the wierd thing is in previous 5 notes the reason by VO for refusal was low academics, all times the same copy paste things, though i have avg of 60% in my graduation.

hard to tell u for settlement, i studied 100 cases and the ratio is very very low even sucess in final hearing stage its like 2 success and 8 refused by judge, getting settlement wow its make lucky and even i cant belive how i felt when i received settlement email from ircc

The request for rule 9 was sent late so you won't be counting time from January. Rule 9 usually takes around 10 days except for any public holidays, you should get it soon now.
this was the famous case, she refused 6 times overall, did judicial review on 5th applicationa and later got visa after successful JR,,, she is somewhere in this thread as she telling she refused 6 times and got visa
VO notes were very detailed like IRCC hired a specialist to analyze the SOP. Doesn't seem like a work of a normal VO. Going for a JR on such VO notes was not wise. If a study permit application goes to a hearing, it's a sign that opposing counsel has decided not to settle and then it is a not a good idea for the applicant to fight in the court.
