Hmmm sorry to hear that. I know that gckey when linking, there are 4 categories in the drop down when adding information in the Application details section, maybe try switching it around.
UCI and Application No, might not work, try family name, and DOB, if you haven't done so, of course
Hey guys - just got the AOR recently and I was planning to apply for an Open Work permit for my spouse. However, she is on a study permit and currently studying in Canada. I am on PR though and tried to apply through her IRCC account but it doesn't let me apply an open work permit for a study permit holder and only lets me apply if the person is on a visitor visa or work permit. Is there anyone who can help in the process if you were in a similar situation and applied for a work permit for your spouse when they were on a study permit? Thanks in advance.
So for PA on student permit, you’d need AIP( approval in principle) letter in addition to the AOR (sometimes they do mail it instead of email) to see the Open Work Permit Options after answering the eligibility questions for work permit. Bcus you answer no for “ Have you received Approval in Principle” question, the only option with be applying for a “Temporary Resident Visa. But if you answer yes to that questions, you’d have both Open work permit and Temporary resident visa, to choose from. Note: Pre-arrival letter is not the same as the AIP.
