I am a non-test applicant. Became PR years ago, but applied for citizenship now.

Us too. Been PR since 2015. Were TFWs since 2012. We finally felt like we needed to get it done. Now that we have, I can't freaking wait!

Does anyone know how long it's currently taking to close out the other steps and issue an oath invite?

normal time for citizenship is 8 month now your just pass test background is main part when is done you will 1 or 2 month then they ask for oath if everthing goes smoothly

Thanks. I actually only applied in early January so it's all moving really quickly so far.

Hi, I submitted application along with my husband on January 28th and we are still yet to receive AOR.

I tried the tracker based on my husband’s PR application but for some reason it’s not accepting since he became PR 9 years ago.

So now I’m at loss, since I can see similar timelines getting their AOR like two days ago. Any advise?

Hi, wanted to update finally got AOR yesterday however, there were two passports in the eligibility period and I was asked to submit the old one. Both for my Husband and I. Nothing updated in the tracker yet.

Some updates-
AOR- 15th January
Test Invite: 11th Feb
Background completed: 12th Feb
Test completed: 17th Feb

Test updated 19th Feb (Reflected today in the portal)

The tracker showed there was an update (with a star mark) when I logged in on Feb 14, but nothing had changed. Four days later, the test changed to IP and today my BG is complete.

I got a ghost update on the 19th. I hope that means we'll get the test invite next week.

I just used a test app and listened to a couple of practice tests on YouTube.
